Also let's start thinking about the next step for your cultural reporter project. We need to identify a cultural group for you to examine throughout the semester. Now that you have explored your identity, what is a different identity/group that you would like to know more about? It should be a group that you have had limited access to previously, but is local to your area so you can study them through interpretive ethnographic methods. You mention the importance of your study abroad experience. Maybe we can develop something from that identity. You could examine native Nebraskan students to give you an alternative perspective. Let's definitely discuss this!
